Twin Tanks

Twin Tanks is located close to due west of the parking lot for the Riding and Hiking Trail along the road south to Cottonwood. Keen eyes, or binoculars, can spot the bright spot of the outcropping from the parking lot, peraps a haf mile distant. The easiest walking is by way of a wash, which you can hit by angling 45 degrees to the left, taking the second wash you hit. If you take the first wash, its fun, but you end up in a maze of washes. The second tank is 100 feet or so to the north of the tank by the boulders. All around the area are neat rock formations and more to explore.
