I just had to throw in a photo of the Bristlecones somewhere.
NOT in JTNP, but the White Mountains on the California / Nevada border. How this has never been made into a Natioal Park is beyhond me! Bristlecone Pines are said to be the oldest living things, and certainly are among the most photogenic.
